Mündriku residence, Väike-Patarei 1/1

Contemporary Kalamaja is filled with street food restaurants, cosy cafes and gourmet restaurants catering to every taste. The old town, seaplane harbour, fish market, the well maintained Kalamaja Park and the recently modernised Baltic Station Market are all only a short walk away. Kalamaja’s uniqueness is expressed by its friendly inhabitants and the community-organised annual street festival Kalamaja Päevad (Kalamaja Days) that is becoming more popular every year.

Mündriku residents homes on Väike-Patarei and Jahu streets are inspired by the creative atmosphere of Kalamaja, the open community culture and the proximity of the sea. The new buildings blend into the existing environment while offering the advantages of a contemporary building.
The Mündriku residents consists of seven, small, private three or four storey residential buildings. Each building has only 8-15 apartments, with terraces offering access to the courtyard that is bounded by a wooden fence characteristic of Kalamaja. The nostalgic landscaping of the yard consists of plum and apple trees, lilacs, park roses and peonies. There is a spacious children’s playground, with exciting recreational attractions and a gymnastics area for those sportfully inclined. The balconies offer views to the sea and in the distance, the towers of the old town.
The interiors are characterised by clear cut lines and contrasting tones, natural materials and contemporary finishing. The size range of the homes is 31-106 square metres.
