Northern Tallinn – new homes in a unique environment

Kelmiküla Northern Tallinn is the fourth largest district in Tallinn and is further divided into nine smaller districts that each have their unique history. Right next to Toompea is its former suburb of Kelmiküla with its beautiful streets. This area is full of nostalgic wooden architecture, but also gorgeous apartment buildings with an art nouveau touch. The Toompark, which surrounds Toompea, creates added value for the area. On the manicured paths of this park you can enjoy the outdoors, have a picnic with friends or go for a run.

A few minutes’ walk away there are cafés and restaurants that offer delicious experiences and, of course, there is the Old Town. In the area, you’ll also find the acclaimed Jakob Westholm High School and the Kelmiküla kindergarten.

In the middle of Kelmiküla, on the small street of Saani we have developed new, modern homes for the city centre. Saani Street is also more exclusive because here you’ll end up living on a street that only has that one building – Saani 2.

Kalamaja Northern Tallinn is also where one of Tallinn’s most popular areas is located – Kalamaja charms you with its varied architecture and bohemian atmosphere. The colourful wooden buildings that were built a century ago to house workers create a romantic atmosphere. As a contrast, right nearby there are huge old industrial factory buildings that are now home to popular restaurants, exhibits and second hand shops. In Kalamaja you can find street food restaurants, cosy cafés and gourmet restaurants to suit any taste. What makes Kalamaja unique is its friendly inhabitants and the community organised street festival Kalamaja Päevad, which is becoming more and more popular with each passing year.

The new homes YIT built in modern Kalamaja blend in with the existing atmosphere, while offering the benefits of modern housing. Vibu Street is located by the sea, near the Seaplane Harbour and the living rooms lead straight onto sunny terraces, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee.
