Building structure

The exterior walls of the building will be built using 3-ply reinforced concrete panels supported on a strip foundation. The interior walls, between the apartments will be built using reinforced concrete panels. The shaft walls will be built used light blocks and the light walls in the interior of the apartments will be built with gypsum plasterboard on a metal frame. The mountable hollow reinforced concrete panels of the internal ceilings will be covered with insulation layers and sealed with poured concrete. The building’s roof will use rolling plate roofing material.

Balconies and windows

The balconies are constructed using mountable cantilevered concrete elements. The balcony boundaries are made from perforated or smooth metal on a metal frame. Owners wanting a glazed in balcony may use the architect’s drawings for the glass partitions. The apartment windows are PVC profiles with triple glazed assemblies.

Interior finishing

The walls and ceilings of the apartments are coated, the floors covered with veneer parquet. The sanitary rooms and entrance hall floors have ceramic tiles. The walls of the sanitary rooms are covered with ceramic tiles up to the gypsum suspended ceiling.

Utility systems

Heating. The heating is based on the municipal district heating system. The apartments are equipped with radiators and apartment based, remotely read heat meters.

Ventilation. Each apartment has an apartment based rotary heat exchanger and a separate local extraction system above the kitchen range (the hood is by order of the client). The ventilation system is installed in an auxiliary room, with a door, within the apartment, the control button is installed on the wall beside the equipment. The hood’s ventilation duct is equipped with an electrical valve (the switch is in the same frame as the outlets above the kitchen’s work surface.

Electrical installation. The apartment’s strong and weak current electrical cabinets are located sunken in the hall zone. The two-tariff electricity meters are located in the main cabinet on the 1^st floor and meter cabinets on each floor. The bathrooms have installed in them electrical floor heating, which is adjustable using floor sensors and temperature regulators. Ceiling lights are installed in the sanitary rooms and entrance hall. Other lighting fixtures are ordered and installed by the buyer of the apartment. Security alarm system readiness is built into the apartments – cabling is in place for the keypad and exterior door magnetic sensor. The ordering and installation of the security equipment of the apartment is not included in the purchase price of the apartment.

The building’s room for storage areas and utility rooms (heating room and electrical cabinet room) are equipped with a local security alarm system, with the control keypads by the entrances. The building is equipped with a fire alarm system. The data communication network is done according to CAT6 conditions, using a star scheme with a central point in the apartment’s weak current cabinet. The apartment owner has the possibility on his/her own to join the services of a phone and data communication (incl. digital television) provider. The apartment has a video entryphone system, which allows visitors to contact the corresponding apartment and open the exterior door of the building from the apartment.

Territory and parking

The lots Liikuri 7, Liikuri 5B and Liikuri 5, form an integrated quarter. The buildings are surrounded by a fenced carpark and in the middle is an inner courtyard with a resting area, which includes a playhouse, benches, sandbox, as well as games and sports inventory.

The properties have 2 entrances and exits (with winged gates) from the Liikuri Street. Two pedestrian gates open to the Liikuri street and one towards the kindergarten. The opening of the winged gates takes place with a mobile phone, the pedestrian gates are equipped with mechanical locks.

The parking spaces for the Liikuri 5B building are located in the open carpark, which is equipped with lighting on masts. No stairs are intended, in front of the building’s entrance, so it is suitable for wheelchair access. The lighting of the courtyard has been solved with low pollard type exterior lighting.

The building on lot Liikuri 5B has a waste building, which is intended to have separate containers for mixed household waste, packaging and paper.
